Minute Warning has been considered the second part of the The Fartz story, and it could be, but there were some important changes on the lineup, not just a change of name.
Minute Warning was formed in Seattle, and it had two periods, 1982 to 1984 and later 1997-1998.
The Fartz legacy was, vocalist Blaine Cook was replaced by Steve Verwolf. Duff McKagan played the guitar not the drums. Paul Solger stayed playing the guitar.
The new recruiments were the drummer Greg Gilmore and bassist David Garrigues. Greg Gilmore was later the Mother Love Band.
Few months after David Garrigues left the band, and Duff McKagan had to play the bass for the 8 track recordings.
Jim Lightfoot was the bassist for a while, and then was replaced by Daniel House.

During those years, 10 Minute Warning was about to release an album through Alternative Tentacles with Jello Biafra, but it never happened. Some songs were recorded to be included on it, even a Pink Floyd's cover "The Nile Song". There was not a alternative and indie record label network on Seattle scene yet.
However, the band fed the beginning of the grunge, moreover inspired significant musicians like Stone Gossard, who stated playing with the 10 Minute Warning influence during his Green River years.
The last concert of 10 Minute Warning took place at the Lincoln Arts Center in Seatlle, the breakup happened in 1984.

Vocals Steve Verwolf had several years to fight his drug problems, he came back to music with Steve Weid (Tad) and Scott Wade (Sledge) in Foil.
Greg Gilmore was in L.A. with Duff, he got the chance to join Guns 'n' Roses but he refused it, then Gilmore he returned to Seattle and played for Skin Yard and Mother Love Bone.
Duff McKagan went to L.A and joined Guns N' Roses.
Paul Solger joined The Fags, a New York based band.

Fourteen years passed since the breakup, and some members planned to get together and release the album that never saw the light.
Stone Gossard was helping the 10 Minute Warning to go forward.
The band got the vocalist Christopher Blue to join, due to Steve Verwolf was serving a term in Federal Prison.
Sup Pop released the new album in 1998. Two new recording from The Fartz times were included.
The lineup before the second breakup was:

Paul Solger decided not to follow with the band. Some later the band played the last concert on August 22, 1998 at the Roseland Theater in Portland. Later, te won his battle against cancer.
Duff McKagan went back to project named Velvet Revolver.
Steve Verwolf died in August 2008, his death was caused by a heroin overdose.
