| Melvins albums, Freak Puke |
The Melvins released "Freak Puke" on June 5, 2002 through Ipecac Records.
Trevor Dunn joined the band as bassist in order to record this album with Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover.
It meant some kind of a second lineup for the Melvins, since Jarred Warren and Coady Willis remained on the band, but did not take part on Freak Puke.
Trevor Dunn has been involved in many bands and projects like Mr. Bungle, MadLove or Tomahawk. In this last band Trevor replaced Kevin Rutmanis, The Melvins former bassist.

Then The Melvins decided to record a cover album and they titled it "Everybody Loves Sausages". It was released on April 30, 2013 through Ipecac Records.
Trevor Dunn playes as double bassist in three songs, but the most song are played by the quartet created since (A) Senile Animal.
They covered bands like Venom, Queen, David Bowie and so on.
Besides of Osborne, Crove, Warren, Willis and Dunn, many musicians helped the band. Scot Kelly, Mark Arm, Caleb Benjamin, J.G. Thirwell, Clem Burke, Jello Biafra, Kevin Rutmanis (former Melvins member) and Tom Hazelmeyer.

| Melvins album, Tres Cabrones |
The next album, "Tres Cabrones", was released on November 5, 2013 over Ipecac Records.
Mike Dillard was the first drummer of The Melvins, and the band planned he recorded this album. Dillard went to Fecal Matter after leaving The Melvins in 1984, and he finally joined them again.
Dale Crover went on to play the bass guitar in this record instead the drums.
Nine song had been released over vinyl previously, the band recorded again and fix them.

On October 14, 2014 The Melvins released another album called "Hold It In" through Ipecac Records.
Paul Leary and Jeff Pinkus, from Butthole Surfers, featured with Osborne and Crover to complete the lineup.
This album confirmed the Osborne-Crover high level to writte songs, they use to record one album for year.
