This part begins in 2006, Kevin Rutmanis had left the band, The Melvins bassist's gap was void, the choosen one was Jared Warren, alongside drummer Coady Willis were the two signings from the Seattle band Big Business.
The Melvins started to play with two drums, Dale Crover and the recent signed Coady Willis.

With the traditional trio became to a quartet, The Melvins released "(A) Senile Animal" on October 10, 2006 through Ipecac Records.
These new musicians helped the band to record an excellent album, powerful and for sure one of the best Melvins album ever made.
The song called "A History of Bad Men" was included in the film I Know Who Killed Me and in the TV show True Detective.
Toshi Kasai worked on the recordings, he later would play the guitar and the keyboards in Big Business from 2008 to 2012.

The next album was called "Nude With Boots", released on July 8, 2008 over Ipecac Records.
This album counts with the collaboration of Tom Hazelmyer (The U-Men and Halo of Flies), he played the track number ten
"The Savage Hippy".
It sounds slower and darker than the previous one. Anyway the band reaffirmed this great moment, the riffs flew easily again.
Buzz Osborne made a good decision having two drummers, these albums proved it.

Around two years later appeared another album "The Bride Screamed Murder", Ipecac Records released it on June 1, 2010.
This album obtained good sales and got in the Billboard 200.
The Melvins recorded another fine album, it sounds like them, it sounds like a great band.
