The Melvins part 5

The Melvins Lustmord album, Pigs of the Roman Empire

The upcoming albums of The Melvins at that moment were collaborations with other musicians.

The Melvins and Lustmord came together to record an album called "Pigs of the Roman Empire". Ipecac Records released this album on August 23, 2004.

Brian Williams (Lustmord) is a great musician, dark ambient composer and sound engineer. He produced this album and added his brilliant dark atmosphere.

Adams Jones (Tool) also took part on this project, and the Buzz's wife Mackie Osbornre worked on the art design.

First The Melvins and Jello Biafra album,
Never Breathe What You Can't See

On October 19, 2004, few month since last release, The Melvins showed up another album "Never Breathe What You Can't See" over Alternative Tentacles.

Jello Biafra, the lead vocals of Dead Kennedy's was the singer of this albums and wrote most of the songs with Buzz Osborne.  The recorded sound takes the band to the punk rock scene.
Adam Jones played the guitar as well in this album. The producers were Ali G. North and Marshall Lawless.

Second The Melvins and Jello Biafra album,
Sieg Howdy!

The union with Jello Biafra produced another album called "Sieg Howdy!", this album was released on September 26, 2005 through Alternative Records.

This album and the last one "Never Breathe What You Can't See" could be considered a double album, since both were recorded from the same recordings. It counted with the same producers too, Ali G. North and Marshall Lawless.

Some covers are also included on Sieg Howdy! like Alice Cooper "Halo of Flies".

The next album "(A) Senial Animal" would not have Kevin Rutmanis as bassist. But that's another story.
